Nan's affordable garden designs have been featured in the The LA Times, The Press Enterprise, Sunset Magazine, 951 Magazine, and the cover of the LA Times Calendar.

Nan is a certified Master Gardener through the UCR Cooperative Extension Program, has a Provisional Garden Design certification through Garden Clubs of America, and teaches gardening classes through the Riverside Community College Extension Program and the UCR Botanic Garden. She is a board member of the UCR Botanic Garden, and the Riverside Flower and Garden Show, a previous President of the Gardens of Spring Garden Tour Board of Directors, sponsored by the Riverside Regional Medical Center, and a Member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.

Her gardens have been showcased repeatedly on community garden tours, and viewed by thousands of garden lovers over the years. She has consulted for, designed and installed dozens of gardens, both small and large.
